I have been sitting here trying to find the right words and honestly? There aren’t enough of them.
This month, 54 people showed up for the senior dogs. They didn’t have to. But they did. And together we raised $1,200 that is going directly to Cherished Tails Senior Dog Sanctuary in Marana, Arizona.
Let me tell you what that money actually means.
Cherished Tails pulls senior dogs from shelters — dogs who, without intervention, would be put down simply because of their age. Not because of anything they did. Not because they are broken or unlovable. Simply because they are old in a world that too often does not value old things.
Your dollars cover the real costs of giving these dogs a second chance. Veterinary care. Medications. The daily expenses of keeping them safe and loved while they wait for their person.
Because of 54 people buying raffle tickets, old dogs who had run out of time now have a new lease on life. They will find their person. They will find their perfect couch. And it started with you.
